James "Jim" Driscoll, 72, North Manchester, died on Jan. 8 at 6:10 p.m., at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester. He was born the late Mark and Lorene (Miller) Driscoll on March 15, 1941 in Wabash.
He served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked in Maintenance. He was a member of American Legion Post 15 and Wabash Eagles Lodge both of Wabash.
He is survived by a companion, Candace Burns, North Manchester; children, Heather Bolen, Kokomo, Valorie Payne, West Virginia, and Robert Bakehorn, Wabash; seven grandchildren, Jaden Payne, Jasmine Payne, Jayce Payne, Sylvia Bakehorn, Anna Bakehorn, Mason Bolen, and Tip-E Bolen; four brothers, Michael Driscoll (Judy), Peru, Patrick Driscoll (Joanie), Florida, Dan Driscoll (Pam), Wabash, and Gary Driscoll, Fort Wayne. He was preceded death by a brother, Stephen.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 13, at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Dan Boone officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Lawns Cemetery in Wabash.
