William “Bill” Ring, 55, Warsaw, died on Dec. 31 at 2:22 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born Dec. 9, 1958 in Kalamazoo, Mich. to William Jack and Betty (Holmes) Ring.
He was a 1977 graduate of Wabash High School. Bill was a millwright and electrician having worked 10 years at Gulf Stream in Nappanee, and Parkview-Whitley Hospital, Columbia City for 10 years; Owens Corning, Nappanee and was currently working at NIBSCO in Goshen. He married Angela Shearrer on Nov. 28, 1982. She survives.
He is also survived by his son, Aaron Ring, Warsaw; a daughter, Linsey Ring, Pierceton; three grandchildren, Gage Ring, Warsaw and Riley and Bailey Parker, both of Pierceton; his mother, Betty Ring, Wabash; four sisters, Margie (Steve) White and Jenny (Tim) Thomas, both of Wabash, Becky Nisbet, Warsaw and Mary Ring, Logansport; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Jackie Martin.
Funeral services were held Jan. 4 at McKee Mortuary with Pastor Ed French officiating.
