Wilma L. Howard, 62, Silver Lake, died at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, in her residence.
She was born Nov. 18, 1950 in Gunlock, Ky. to Clayton and Elsie (Neeley) Howard.
She graduated from Warsaw High School in 1969 and received B.S. in Education from Manchester College in 1973. Wilma worked at Heckman Bindery, North Manchester for 38 years. She attended Free United Baptist Church, Sidney, and enjoyed reading and knitting.
She is survived by her parents, Clayton and Elsie Howard, Silver Lake; one brother, Michael D. (Sharon) Howard, LaPorte; two nephews, Jonathan Howard, Santa Cruz, Calif., and David Howard, Kobe, Japan. One sister, Velma Howard, died in 1996.
Services will be held Thursday, June 6, at 2:30 p.m., at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester. Pastor Ward Etsie Allen officiated. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake. Calling hours are Thursday, June 6 from 12:30- 2:30 p.m.
