Gary R. Walters Jr., 42, Peru, formerly of Wabash, died July 21, at his home.

He was born March 18, 1968, in Wabash, to Gary Walters Sr. and Sandra Price Cora.

Mr. Walters was a 1986 graduate of Northfield High School. He was previously a supervisor at GenCorp, Wabash, and had also been employed with General Aluminum, Huntington. He loved to play paintball with his friends. He enjoyed playing softball and had previously been a coach for children and a women’s league. He was a former Lagro Jaycee.

He is survived by his father, Gary (Diana) Walters Sr., Marion; three brothers, Paul Oates and Dan Ritter, both of Peru; and John Adkins, Roann; four stepbrothers, Kevin Campbell and Dewayne Campbell, both of Huntington; Steve Bragg, Fairmount; and Stan Bragg, Marion; one sister, Milinda Raddenbach, Marion; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held July 26, at McDonald Funeral Home, Wabash. Burial was in Friends Cemetery, Wabash.
