Joanna Smith, 82, died July 4. She was born Sept. 28, 1931. She was married to Dr. Lloyd Smith; he preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, two daughters, two brothers, seven grandchildren, four step grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held July 9 at 11 a.m. at the First Brethren Church, 407 N. Sycamore St., North Manchester.
Arrangements were entrusted to McKee Mortuary.
Donald R. “Don” Pearson, 82, died July 5. He was born on May 16, 1932. He was married to Marjorie Ford; she survives.
He is also survived by four daughters, one son, two brothers, a sister, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers.
A service to celebrate Don’s life will be at Solid Rock United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9.
Eldred Metzger, 97, died June 30. He was born May 31, 1917. He was married to M. Louise Penrod; she survives.
He is also survived by one daughter, three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and eight great, great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held July 3 at McKee Mortuary.
Jack Dean Love, 85, Wabash, died at 12:20 p.m., Thursday, July 3, at Wellbrooke of Wabash. He was born Feb. 16, 1929 in Cloverdale, to George Edward and Dora (Richey) Love.
Edith Ferguson, 102, died July 2. She was born May 3, 1912. She was married to Elmer Speck; he preceded her in death. She later married Lowery Ferguson; he also preceded her in death.
Laura Gayle Dyson, 77, Roann, died at 12:04 a.m., Saturday, July 5, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born July 3, 1937 in Winslow, to Delbert and "Lady" (Fettinger) Barber.
Mary Ellen Brown, 97, Wabash, passed away at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, at Autumn Ridge Healthcare Center, Wabash. She was born to the late Lee and Mable (Green) Ross on March 30, 1917 in Aurora.
Inabelle Traver, 85, LaFontaine, passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born to the late Clarence Irving and Goldie Edith (Bryant) O’Connell on June 30, 1928 in Tippecanoe.
