Howard W. Smith, 71, LaFontaine, passed away 7:41 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, at his home. He was born to the late Howard B. and Doris W. (Flitcraft) Smith on Feb. 8, 1942 in Peru.

Steven M. Lake, 69, Wabash, passed away 3:21 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born on June 5, 1944 in Wabash, to the late William L. Lake Sr. and Doris (Nayrocker) Lake, she survives in Wabash.

Beth Ann Bass-Arwood, 54, Wabash, died at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at her home.  She was born Aug. 3, 1958 in Wabash to Richard B. and Betty (Helm) Bass.

Helen Arnold, 91, Silver Lake, died June 12, at 8:44 a.m. in her home.

Josephine Fordyce, 90, Wabash, died at 2:50 a.m. Thursday, June 13, at Miller's Merry Manor East in Wabash.  She was born May 16, 1923 in LaFontaine, to Glen and Dolly (Smith) Palmer.

Harriett E. Bellar, 67, Denver, passed away at 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, at her residence.

Sharri L. Carpenter, 66, Wabash, died at 3:47 p.m. on Friday, June 7, at Select Specialty Hospital, Fort Wayne.
